A few months back I showed off a few photos I took of Stevie the horse while he was competing at a local dressage event here in Canberra, and he was a cheeky guy even then in such a formal environment.  Well, a couple of weeks ago I got the opportunity to head out to where Stevie lives and take some photos of him having a play.  It was freezing cold and almost raining, but we managed to get some half decent photos that show just what a playful personality Stevie has.

It’s been in the making for some time now.  Slaving away on nights, just like this one, to produce what I hope will be one of the smoothest, cleanest image portfolio experiences you’ve seen for a while.  That’s right, I’ve launched my new website and it’s jam-packed full of photos, javascript, HTML tricks and CSS goodness.  Almost all the things I love in life.  If I could figure out how to upload my partner, Justine, to the website, it would be all of the things I love.

As an automotive photographer I’m always photographing nice shiny cool looking cars that are never really that old.  To date the oldest cars I’ve photographed are a few Fords from the 1970′s.  Because of this, you never really think about what happens to a car once it’s glory days are over.  So when I was told that a few friends would be heading down to a well known wreckers in Cooma called Flynn’s Wrecking Yard with the Canberra Celica Group, I just had to tag along….
